Biography

A native of Ohio, Kristen grew up in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Richardson High School's Communications Magnet. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism from Southern Methodist University where she also received a minor in Psychology. She served as an anchor and reporter for SMU's Daily Update and served as a contributing writer for SMU's Daily Campus newspaper. Kristen enjoyed her time at SMU so much that she went on to earn her juris doctorate degree from SMU's Dedman School of Law in 2010. While attending law school, she served as the Vice President of the Association of Public Interest Law. She also interned with the Dallas District Attorney's Office in the Protective Order Division.

Prior to joining Holden Litigation, Kristen was a trial attorney for a national insurance company. She also has experience as an insurance defense and commercial litigation attorney. Kristen is now the Managing Partner of Holden Litigation's Texas offices. With over a decade of experience practicing law in Texas under her belt, Kristen knows Texas and is ready to litigate your file. She is a four time recipient of the Super Lawyers Rising Star Award and an active panelist on Holden Litigation's COVID-19 and Big Freeze TX'21 webcasts.

Kristen is the mother of two boys and in her spare time she enjoys baking and party planning.
