Jane R. Cowdery received her undergraduate degree with special distinction with a major in psychology and minors in zoology and physics from the University of Oklahoma, where she was Phi Beta Kappa and President of Mortar Board. She completed her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1990 at the University Of Tulsa College Of Law. She is admitted to practice in Oklahoma state courts as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Oklahoma and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Cowdery worked for five years in child protective services, foster care services, and adoption prior to entering law school. She has a broad practice background in multiple areas of insurance defense, including coverage and bad faith issues. She has experience in multiple and varied areas of motion practice and has participated in over thirty appeals.
