Mike Carr, a Tulsa native, received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma, and received his Juris Doctorate degree with distinction from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Mr. Carr is admitted to practice law in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, and the Cherokee, Osage, and Muscogee (Creek) Nations. He is further admitted in the U.S. Supreme Court, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, all Federal Courts in Oklahoma as well as multiple Federal Courts in both Texas and Arkansas. Mr. Carr has achieved an “AV Preeminent” rating from Martindale Hubbell and was named by Tulsa People magazine as one of the Top Rated Lawyers of 2012.  Also, in 2016 and 2017, Mr. Carr was elected by his peers to the list of Super Lawyers© for his outstanding achievement in the profession.

Mr. Carr is a member of the Tulsa County, Oklahoma and Dallas Bar Associations, as well as the Defense Research Institute (DRI). Mr. Carr has published articles in national and local publication covering topics involving civil wiretapping actions in Federal Court, drug testing under Oklahoma State Law and liability for workplace accidents. Mr. Carr also frequently lectures to multiple groups of lawyers and business managers regarding a wide variety of employment law, litigation and medical malpractice issues. He has a broad civil practice with an emphasis on insurance defense, employment litigation, civil rights liability and medical claims. Mr. Carr’s practice is divided between jury trial, insurance coverage disputes and appellate matters. With almost two decades of experience in litigation, Mr. Carr has tried many jury trials and is a graduate of the International Association of Defense Counsel’s Trial Academy at Stanford University in 2006. He has further presented oral arguments in many appellate matters in both the Oklahoma Supreme Court and in the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver, Colorado.
